About Me

Hi there, welcome!

 I have been intrigued with health and wellness from a very young age. I began practicing yoga since my college years. While I thought working out 2-3 hrs. twice to three times a week was healthy, my healing journey has shown me a different, more compassionate path to wellness.  It all began over a decade ago with a skin rash that wouldn't heal with Western medicine and led me to seek alternatives.

Through consultations with holistic/integrative practitioners, acupuncture, energy healing, psychotherapy, and dietary changes I discovered that in order to heal the skin rash all of the bodies needed to be addressed (physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual).  

These lifestyle changes led me to self awareness and to seek mind-body balance. Yoga is where I found balance and grounding, and in 2015 led me to become a yoga teacher. I hope to share the beautiful gifts of yoga; harmony, strength, self-awareness, and balance. 

​I  completed my 200 hour RYTT with Blue Sun Yoga and have continued my training in Yoga to Transform Trauma with Catherine Ashton , Bridging Yoga with Social Change with Yoli Maya Yeh,  Advancing the Four Agreements into the Soul with Don Miguel Ruiz Jr., and Animal Reiki I & II with Share Siwek. I have taught in English and Spanish at local yoga studios in Chicago.

In 2021, I received my certification in Ayurveda Wellness Counseling from Ananda Ayurveda Academy, and certification in Total Yoga Nidra from Yoga Nidra Network with Yoli Maya Yeh, Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, and Niripta Tuli. In 2022, furthering my knowledge in Ayurveda, I received my certification as a Food, Breath, and Sound Sadhana Lifestyle Consultant with Maya Tiwari from Wise Earth Ayurveda. In 2023, I began reconnecting to my Mexican ancestral lineage with The Curanderx Toolkit course with Atava Garcia Swiecicki and The Obsidian Mirror with Vero Juarez. Today I am part of the Curanderx Evolution program with Atava and Vero, a 13 month long container to expand our personal practices and to create space for personal & collective evolution & healing.  

My work is a reflection of the practices that have allowed me to heal physically, mentally, and spiritually. These practices are Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and conscious eating and living, and my path is to create offerings that are inclusive, permissive, accessible, and compassionate to both the Spanish and English speaking communities.
